Over the course of researching professionally for the past five decades, I have decided to close my services due to health issues which have not allowed me to perform up to my (not others) professional standards.
It's heartbreaking, because clients were an incredible gift to me leading to alternative thinking when uncovering their true identity and more. My greatest adventure was working for the Department of National Defence, Canada, researching for living DNA to place a name on an unknown soldiers' grave from World War I.
The passion came through from the beginning of locating Attestation papers to receiving that wild confirmation from living ancestors to have their DNA analyzed to hopefully bind the generations of nearly 110 years. Some wild expectations, but accurately true.
I am tremendously grateful for the years of service and the results accomplished for each client. Yours truly, Lyn Meehan, Researcher
