Military Research

Where the Story Begins

Daunting as it may seem, military research begins with artifacts or kernels of truth whispered in family stories. Once the idea is launched, research can branch off into several different sources: service records, pensions, photographs, maps and more; plus some wonderful storytelling artifacts.

Lyn has experience researching the U.S. Revolutionary War and Civil War, Canadian Militia, South Africa's Second Boer War, WWI and WWII, U.S. National Guardsmen and Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Her curiosity into military services extends from family members serving in the Europe, Pacific and North African campaigns along with several proven clientele case studies.
