"The Yorkshire Matron"

Where the Story Begins

This case study began by searching for one man's death. Questions multiplied.  Who was the death informant? What address was he living at? When did he move there? How did he die? Why was he living there? All the questions led to one individual. Her title: "The Yorkshire Matron". After receiving the client's photo, Lyn's first investigative question was to date the picture.

Research Highlights

At first sight, there are three people standing on the porch steps. Grasping a magnifying glass, there is a discovery to oodles of clues. The flora, a flag, a brooch, the apparel, the sun's shadow and more. Plenty of conventional resources were used, but it was the wealth of forensic fieldwork—the unorthodox sources that answered the question.

The Result

This forensic solution became a popular presentation titled "Ogling Photographs and Documents". Contact Lyn to hear how she unraveled the story.
